Mobile App Development

Mobile app development for iOS and Android

You may have an app idea, an existing product that needs to change, or a business process that has outgrown spreadsheets and disconnected tools. My Faces Production develops customer-facing mobile applications for iOS and Android, with backend, admin-panel and integration work available when the project requires them. You can begin with the problem you want to solve; you do not need to arrive with a finished feature list or technical architecture.

When a mobile app project makes sense

A mobile app may be the right next step when customers or staff need to complete important tasks away from a desktop, or when your current tools no longer support the way the business operates.

  • You have an app idea but need help turning the business problem into a defined product.
  • Customers need a mobile way to browse, order, book, track or manage information.
  • Your team needs an application connected to business workflows or an administrative system.
  • An existing app or software product needs agreed new features, interface changes or customization.
  • You need an app together with a website, backend API or admin panel rather than separate pieces from different providers.

What the development work can cover

The project is shaped around the people using the app and the workflows they need to complete. Only the platforms, features and supporting systems agreed for your project are included.

  • iOS and Android application

Implementation of the agreed mobile interfaces, user flows and features for iOS, Android or both platforms.

  • Backend and admin tools

Where required, the scope can include an API, database and administrative interface for managing the information and workflows used by the app.

  • External services

Required payment, maps, messaging, notification or other third-party services can be assessed and included as named integrations.

  • Deployment preparation

When included, the team can prepare mobile builds and assist with submission to the relevant app stores. Deployment of supporting web applications and APIs can also be scoped.

From a business problem to a reviewable application

  1. 01

    Understand the intended use

The discussion starts with your business, the problem, the intended users and what they need to do. If you are unsure about features, integrations or supporting systems, those details can be worked through during discovery.

  2. 02

    Define the project

The proposed scope sets out the platforms, features, product parts, integrations, responsibilities, deliverables, expected timeline, pricing and project terms before development begins.

  3. 03

    Develop and review

The agreed application and supporting systems are implemented, with progress updates and opportunities to review the product. The development team checks implemented functionality, user flows, interface design and responsiveness; identified issues are corrected and checked again.

  4. 04

    Acceptance and handover

You can inspect the agreed features and workflows and report issues under the project's acceptance terms. Deployment, mobile builds, account access and handover instructions are then provided as specified in the agreement.

What you receive

The final handover depends on whether the engagement covers a new application, an existing product or customization of one of My Faces Production's interfaces. The agreed deliverables may include:

  • An application for the agreed platform or platforms, with the specified features and workflows.
  • A backend API, database, admin panel or integrations when those parts are included.
  • A prepared mobile build and app-store submission assistance when included in the scope.
  • Source code and project files for custom development, or when source delivery is expressly agreed.
  • Repository access, deployed links and setup, deployment or main-feature instructions as agreed.
  • A walkthrough, training session, recording or administrator documentation when included in the agreement.

Mobile interface examples you can inspect

These are My Faces Production-owned product demonstrations, not customer case studies or evidence of measured business results. Several include Android demo apps you can install.

What is included - and what is separate

Every proposal should identify the included features, platforms, integrations, delivery responsibilities, costs and handover terms. Hosting, cloud usage, domains, paid APIs, software licences, payment-provider charges and app-store fees are separate unless expressly included.

The client supplies the required accounts, access, store information, business verification, privacy or legal materials, and other account-owner requirements. App-store review and approval are controlled by Apple or Google and cannot be guaranteed. Formal security audits, penetration testing, certification, independent assessment and extensive automated testing are not automatic inclusions. Ongoing monitoring, backups, maintenance, app-store updates and future features require an agreed support or development scope.

Is this the right fit for your project?

Mobile app development is suited to startups, entrepreneurs and established businesses planning a complete customer-facing product or operational application. It is especially relevant when the app must connect with a backend, admin panel, website or external service.

This service is less suited to isolated corrections with no defined product scope. A useful first conversation can begin with the situation you want to improve, even if you have not chosen the features, technology, architecture, timeline or budget.

Questions before starting

Can I enquire if I only have an idea?

Yes. Describe the intended user, the problem and what you would like the app to help them do. The feature set and supporting product parts can be explored during discovery.

Can the project include a backend and admin panel?

Yes, when those parts are required and included in the agreed scope. The proposal should identify the application, API, database, administrative tools and integrations being delivered.

How are cost and timeline determined?

They are estimated after reviewing the platforms, workflows, features, integrations, supporting systems and available client materials. No single price or delivery period applies to every application.

Can an existing product demo be customized?

An owned demo may provide a starting interface or product direction. The requested changes, integrations, deployment work and handover are assessed as a separate customization project.

Describe the app you want to explore

Share the business problem, intended users and the main task the app should support. If you already have a website, application, reference example or preferred launch date, include it - but it is fine if some of those details are still undecided.
