Custom Software Development

Custom software built around how your business works

When spreadsheets, manual steps or disconnected tools can no longer support the way your business operates, a custom system can bring the work into one place. My Faces Production designs and develops software around your workflows, users and requirements, with the aim of reducing repetitive work and making day-to-day operations easier to manage.

When custom software becomes the practical choice

You may already know what needs to improve, even if you do not yet know what the software should look like.

  • Your team relies on spreadsheets, repeated data entry or manual handoffs.
  • Customer, order, booking, inventory or operational information is spread across different tools.
  • An existing system no longer matches your process or needs substantial new functionality.
  • Off-the-shelf software forces your team to work around its limitations.
  • You need a central system with controlled user access, an administrative area and the functions required for your operation.

What we can build

The work begins with the business process rather than a predetermined product. Depending on the agreed scope, we can develop the user-facing application, administrative tools and supporting systems required to run it.

  • Business management systems

Software for managing customers, employees, operations, sales, bookings, inventory and internal workflows.

  • CRM and administrative platforms

Customer and lead management, dashboards, reports, notifications and the controls your team needs to manage the product.

  • POS, billing and ordering systems

Systems for transactions, invoices, orders, inventory and business reporting, including workflows for retail, restaurants and other service businesses.

  • Backend services and integrations

APIs, databases, authentication, payment workflows and connections with external services such as maps, messaging, notifications and analytics.

  • Existing software improvements

Customisation and enhancement of an existing product when it needs new features or a closer fit with current business requirements.

From your workflow to a working system

  1. 01

    Understand the operation

We review your business, current challenges, target users, required features, integrations and intended outcome.

  2. 02

    Define the solution and scope

We recommend an approach and identify what the project will include. This is where the required product parts and important boundaries are made clear.

  3. 03

    Prepare the estimate and proposal

Once the requirements are understood, we provide the expected timeline, pricing, deliverables and project terms for your review.

  4. 04

    Develop with regular reviews

After approval and kickoff, development begins. You receive progress updates and can review the product while it is being built.

  5. 05

    Test, deploy and support

We test the agreed product, make final improvements, deploy it and provide post-launch support according to the confirmed project scope.

What you receive

Your deliverables are defined in the proposal rather than assumed. Depending on the project, the agreed solution may include a web application, mobile application, administrative panel, backend, database, APIs, integrations and production deployment support.

  • A system customised to the agreed business workflow and user requirements.
  • The product components listed in the approved scope.
  • Progress updates and opportunities to review the product during development.
  • Testing and final improvements before deployment.
  • Post-launch support as defined for the project.

Clear scope before development starts

A website, mobile app, administrative panel, backend, hosting, payment integration, maintenance and future enhancements are separate parts of a product and are not automatically bundled together. We establish what is included, optional or separately scoped before the project begins. Pricing and timing are estimated after reviewing the required features, integrations and delivery responsibilities. AI-assisted workflows may support development, while developers remain responsible for review, testing and engineering decisions.

Is this service a good fit?

Custom software development is best suited to businesses, startups and entrepreneurs that need a complete system or a substantial improvement to an existing product. It is particularly relevant when the project has a defined business problem, people who will use or manage the software and a clear reason for replacing the current process. It is less suited to isolated tweaks or open-ended work with no agreed requirements, decision process or project scope.

Questions before starting

Can you improve software we already use?

Yes. Existing software can be customised or enhanced with new functionality when the required changes and current product can be reviewed.

How much will custom software cost?

The cost depends on the product parts, features, integrations and other responsibilities included in the project. We provide pricing with the estimate and proposal after understanding those requirements.

How long will development take?

The expected timeline is provided after discovery and scope definition. It depends on the required functionality, integrations, review process and planned launch.

Are the app, backend and administrative panel all included?

Only the components listed in the agreed scope are included. We clarify which product parts are required and identify any optional or separately scoped work before development begins.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. Planning, development, testing, deployment and support are primarily handled remotely. In-person meetings can also be arranged for local clients when needed.

Tell us what your business needs

Share the current process, the problem you want to solve and the main parts you think the product will need. We will review the enquiry and contact you to clarify the requirements before recommending a scope.
